The Superior Species
About the Superior Species
Everything we know about Superior Species is based on myths, religious texts and rituals of worship. No living person has ever laid eyes on them. The expeditions carried out in regions where they were assumed to have lived were inconclusive and researchers returned without any evidence of their existence.
The fact that there is no tangible information about Superior Species causes the majority of modern humankind to disbelieve in their existence. However, in regions under the influence of particular religions people do continue to believe in them.
The most recent information about Superior Species is derived from the Zsech-Liron War. During the Zsech Liron, also named the Liron Cataclysm, the Pyrokans battled with the Galons and under the leadership of their charismatic leader, Shar Tannatha, the Pyrokans decisively defeated the Galons. However, it is said, that as the Pyrokans started to destroy in the Galon territories, Superior Species intervened and put many people to death, including Shar Tannatha. And this was how the war ended. Modern historians doubt that the Zsech-Liron ended in this way, for at that period both nations altered their historical registers and chronicles, thus rewriting history according to their own aspirations.
As a result, Superior Species represent an absolute mystery. The reason why they are not completely neglected today is the presence of planet Céiron’s supernatural moon, Aetia, which is considered to be the strongest evidence for their existence. This is due to the fact that Aetia could not have become Céiron’s satellite by natural processes. If Aetia did not come into existence naturally, then an entity with supernatural powers must have placed it there. The question of the identity of this supernatural being might be answered by the Superior Species.
