The Major Species
About the Major Species
Not all the political constitutions on the continent of Sorién; the kingdoms, the empires, the sultanates, the pharohships, the khaganates, the shogunates and the shardoms, belong to the humans. There are other species who are as developed as the mankind. None of these species are as widespread or as distinct to each other as the humans, however, these species that regarded as the major species have their own social and even political organizations. Some live alongside the humans, and some reside in regions inhabitable by the humans. Most are in contact with the humans in some way. As friends, or as enemies...
The major species are a categorization that includes advanced species with above average self culture and organization and that can communicate with the other species. Sometimes biologists, sometimes historians and rarely the politicians critisize some species being considered as major species. And sometimes some minor species claim that they should be regarded to be major species. Despite all these arguments, the generally accepted major species have been listed by the Great Pyrok Academy itself and accepted by the most academies, universities and madrasahs.
