Little is known about Eva's past. Being claimed to have commited numerous crimes during the last years and for this reason being forced to live as a fugitive, Eva is in actuality believed to be a descendant of a noble dynasty. This dynasty named Valansky (and Eva's surname also confirms her origins coming from this dynasty) has a very important place in the Russian history; however, during the imperial era it has been erased from the history by being assimilated. The Valanskys are a dynasty from the Galin arc of the Russians and are in truth very close relatives of the Galons; another arc of the RUssians. Although they had maintained their important station during the early periods of the empire, the Galins have lost many of their great dynasties due to the Galons' policy of suppressing any dynasties that wasn't of their own origin. The Valanskys are one of these dynasties.
In actuality, the Valanskys are one of the two nations that orchestrated the repelling of the Anc barbarians, who was reigning on today's Galon lands centuries ago and who established an oppressive authority on the Russian nations. In this incident, which is very important for the Russian history today, the role of the Valanskys is belittled intentionally. The other nation that played a role in the incident; the Tsamijians, blended into the Galons in time; however, dynasties like Valansky who were of Galin origin, managed to stay stronger against the assimilation policies of the Galons. For this reason, the empire is following an approach of denying the role of the Valanskys in this historical incident to prevent Galin nationalism from being encouraged.
Although no known Valansky noble is still alive (maybe Eva is the last living Valansky even), it must be kept in mind that the Valanskys are the most "popular" family among the Galin dynasties. For this reason, Galljan authorities are sensitive in the matter of Valansky history.
Whoever Eva's ancestors are, it is possible that the main factors that shape her life within the Galon lands to be based on different reasons. Being a wanted murderer in a few big cities, Eva is known to be tortured countless times by the Cult Temple and imprisoned for a long time. However, the same Temple did not hesitate to use Eva for its own ends for a while either. It is certain that the relationship between Eva and the Temple is extremely complicated and mysterious.
The mysteries that Eva harbors are not limited with these either. Without doubt, Eva is carrying her biggest secrets in her atrón-distorted eyes, her scar on her cheek that she conceals with diamonds and her strange looking knife. However, nobody has managed to solve these secrets yet.
During the last months, the relationship between Eva and the Cult Temple has collapsed again. Although the reasons aren't known exactly, judging from Eva being forced to live in wreckages, brothels, docks and cemeteries, the Cult priests are after her again. The severed priest heads or organs (especially genitals!) found in the said places, show the priests to be showing an unsuccessful performance in the matter of capturing Eva.
Still, the circle around Eva is tightening. Having very little places left to flee now, Eva hears news of a successful commander who reigns in one of the nearby lordships. This commander, for some reason, is being held in a high esteem by the Templars. Even the rumors say that, the lands of the said commander has been bestowed upon this person by the wish of a famous Cult priest. Eva decides to meet this commander. She does not know if she will regret this decision of hers or not. She is thinking that, if she establishes her relationships of interest with this commander in a correct manner, she can get rid of the Templars on her tail.
Will Eva turn out to be correct, though? Are the templars valuing this commander enough to forgive the crimes of a fugitive that they have been chasing for so long? More importantly, is that commander crazy enoug to take Eva under his protection?
All these questions will be clarified by the commander, whose path sooner or later will cross with Eva's...
